Following a short battle with cancer, Jacob "Bubba" Franklin Canada Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26th 2021 at Harris Southwest Hospital in Fort Worth. Bubba was born on August 18th 1957 to Jacob and Delora Canada in Fort Worth Texas.
Bubba had a lifelong career as a diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. Most recently, worked for Pierce Pumps, building and servicing commercial pumps. He was a loyal employee, always dependable and one of the best at getting the job done.
Bubba is survived by the love of his life, Cindy Canada, his children, Jason Canada and his wife Lori, Nikki Plumlee and her husband Mike, Jacob Canada and his wife Kelsey and Brittany Perry and her husband Erik. He has 7 grandchildren, Caden, Hailey, Paisley, Weston, Caleb and his wife Allyson and Delaney along with 1 great granddaughter, Gwendolyn. Bubba is also survived by 2 of his sisters, Patricia Cassel and Cindy Heron with her husband Don. He had multiple nieces and nephews that loved him very much.
Bubba is predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Delora Canada and 3 of his sisters, Iris Hernandez, Tommy Cobb and Killah Uselton.
When Bubba loved, he loved hard and with his whole heart. He was a devoted father to his children, Papa to his grandchildren, brother to his sisters, uncle to his nieces and nephews and an amazing friend to many. He will forever be loved and missed by all who were blessed to know him. He was one of the good ones!
