Jack Howard Weldon passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at home in Bedford, Texas, surrounded by family and loved ones. 

Jack was born on October 25, 1940, in Houston, Texas to Jack Howard Weldon and Loren White Weldon. He grew up with two brothers and one sister. He attended Galena Park High School and Rice University. While attending Rice, Jack ran track and won many awards. He also spent some time at the New Mexico Military Institute, where he has fond memories of becoming friends with his roommate, Rodger Staubach. 

Jack married the love of his life, Harriet “Ann” Weldon (Neal) on April 22, 1966. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Lisa Ann. Being parents was one of their greatest joys, they were the three musketeers, nearly inseparable. 

In his free time, Jack enjoyed playing a round of golf with friends and practicing his skills on the course or at the driving range. He liked watching westerns or anything to do with war history, always interested in learning new facts. Jack also loved to travel, make new memories and see new places, especially with his family.

 He has been reunited with his loving wife, Harriet “Ann” Weldon, in Heaven. He is also preceded in death by his precious daughter, Lisa Ann Weldon; grandson, Johnny; nephew, Michael; and siblings, Jeanie, Bert and Bruce.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his grandson and his spouse, Michael and Jacque Weldon; niece, Janet Albright; nephews, David Harms and wife, Terry and their daughter, Meghan; cousin, John Griffin and his children, Richard and Sandra; other special family members, Carla and Randy Bell; numerous other extended family members and loving friends. 

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.

The family would also like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to attend the graveside at 3:00pm Friday, July 31, 2026 at Bear Creek Cemetery 100 Bear Creek Cemetery Rd. Euless, Texas 76039 where Jack, Ann and Lisa will be laid to rest together.
