Ivor (Sonny) Andrew Parks, Jr., formerly of Murray, passed away of cancer on November 26, 2023, in Keller, TX. He was 82-years old. Sonny is survived by his son, Ivor (Andy) Parks III and wife Robin, of Grand Prairie, TX, his daughter, Amy Parks Bouck and her husband Joel of North Richland Hills, TX, three grandchildren, Parks, Grady and Lucy Bouck, his sister-in-law, Judy Castleman of Dyersburg, TN, his brother-in-law, Nick Fowlkes of Smyrna, TN and his precious dog, Scooter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 55-years, Lucy Jane Fowlkes Parks.

Sonny was born on April 4, 1941, in Dyersburg, TN, to Ivor Andrew Parks and Georgia Fowler Parks. After marrying Jane on April 7, 1963, in Dyersburg, TN, he moved his family to Murray, KY, in 1973 when he went to work at Fisher-Price, where he worked for more than 10-years before accepting a position with Mattel toy company in Manila, Philippines and then pursuing other roles with Tupperware in South Carolina and with Sweetheart Cups in Texas in 1990.

Sonny loved to play golf with Chet Wildey and his friends at Oaks Country Club but his most treasured time later in life was being PaPaw to his 3 grandchildren who brought him the greatest joy.
