Frances nelson was born in her parent’s home in Mason, TX to Clarence and Nettie Hartmann. She up on San Angelo, TX, was active in the church and was a member of the TexAnns. After marrying at the age of 20 and being a homemaker for 18 years, she pursued her passion of helping others by going back to college at Angelo State University and got her degree in Nursing, one of her proudest accomplishments. She served others for 37 years in a variety of nursing roles, serving as a nursing home administrator, floor nurse, hospice nurse, and home health care nurse.
In 1995, she bought a house in Keller, TX and opened up a Residential care facility, Simply Divine Care. She sold it in 2014, and the business still thrives today as a memory care home.
Besides rearranging the house every Saturday :- ) , she loved to spoil her grandkids, and was an avid reader. She valiantly battled a rare terminal blood disease for 8 long years and will be remembered for her spunk, her hard work ethic, and her love of helping the elderly. She is survived by her two sons, Craig and Chris, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and preceded in death by her daughter Kelli. We will miss her dearly.
