Obituary
Our beloved Mom, Cindy Lee Crowe, age 89, of Hurst Texas passed on February 21, 2023, after a five-year battle with lung cancer and heart disease.
Her memorial service will be held on Monday, February 27th, 4:30 pm at Church of Light and Salt - English Ministry
She was married to Milford M Tognazzini February 5, 1957. He preceded her in death in 1969. Together they had four children, Joan Ann Vasquez, Carolyn Virginia Watson, Marie Lee Webb, and James M Tognazzini. From these, they had 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Though Cindy never received any formal education, she was full of wisdom in many areas of life. She was taught to speak, read and write English by her husband and her mother-in-law, Virginia Tognazzini.
Cindy was an active and longtime member and deacon of The Church of Light and Salt. She loved and was loved by so many who were also part of this beautiful church family.
Cindy was blessed to have special friends who filled in different areas of her life from her church friends to those who she enjoyed walking, exercising, shopping, and playing cards with.
At 4’10”, Cindy was larger than life.
There will be a graveside service in Santa Maria California mid March. More information on that service to follow in the coming days.
