Born March 2, 1940 in Plumerville (Hill Creek), Arkansas to Marvin Hutto and Vurda Mae Stover, Sue Wells peacefully went on to join her parents and her sister, Lenora Stover Gray, in Heaven on Sunday July 30, 2023. She was surrounded by family who loved, admired, and respected her more than words can describe. Sue was a very great Christian lady and most certainly the generous, loving, and wise Matriarch of her family! She spent her life selflessly devoted to caring for others, whether it be rocking babies or tending to infirm and convalescent family members. She always shared the best portion of every Blessing God bestowed on her with overwhelming generosity. She found great happiness in traveling the world, tending her abundant gardens, creating a beautiful home, canning, cooking, and baking signature recipes for her family, and completely spoiling every child who was so fortunate to be loved by her. Sue was married for 65 years to her helpmate, husband, and hero, Henry Charles Wells of Colleyville, Texas. Their legacy of love includes their beloved son and daughter, Christopher Perry Wells of Dallas, Texas and Carolyn Cathleen LeBlanc (Jesse LeBlanc) of Euless, Texas. Her pride and joy were her precious grandchildren, Rebecca Kathleen Raz (Zack Austin), Courtney Michelle Raz, and Elijah Parry LeBlanc (Ashley LeBlanc), who gave her the jewels in her crown - her Great-Grandchildren: Levi Raz, Nikolaus Austin, Londyn Hardeman, Lincoln White, and Nox LeBlanc! Sweet memories will also be cherished by her dear Arkansas and Texas family and friends. All who knew and loved Sue will miss her terribly but should have the Hope she always shared that we, as followers of Jesus, will all be reunited again someday in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. And we all would most definitely agree that, just like her own mother, Carolyn Sue Stover Wells undoubtedly was a Proverbs 31 Woman. Please read John 3:16 and Proverbs 31:10-31
