Bobbie K. (Wilkinson) Ross, born Aug. 19, 1946, in Muskogee, Okla., passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 in Ft. Worth, Texas. A celebration of life will be held in the future. Memorials: May be given to Martin United Methodist Church in Bedford, Texas, or St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla. Bobbie grew up in Ft. Gibson, Okla. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in elementary education. She married her husband Larry in 1967 after meeting him on vacation in Wyoming. They moved to Broken Arrow where they raised their family. Bobbie taught elementary school and worked in children's books and teacher's supply stores. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing handbells, and volunteering with her church. Bobbie was a charter member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla., for 40 years. After moving to Euless in 2009, she became an active member at Martin United Methodist Church where she helped run a community pantry. Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband Larry. She is survived by her son Andy Ross and his wife, Mariana, of Euless; son Matt Ross of Chicago, Ill; granddaughters, Sydney and Ashley Ross. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
