It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Trantham on September 22, 2023, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She left us while resting peacefully at her home in North Richland Hills, TX. She was in her 80th year.

Barbara was born on July 18th, 1943 in Fort Worth, TX to Ernest Sheehan and Edna Myers, the second of three children. She was raised in Fort Worth before eventually settling down in North Richland Hills. Barbara lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker, and worked as a supervisor for a military defense contractor.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Dale Fraley, loving sister to Billy Burke and the late Bud Sheehan. Much loved mother of Michael and wife Lila Trantham, and Mitchell and Tracia Trantham. Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Malorie, Nicole, and Mackenzie. Great grandmother to Taylor, Landyn, Aidyn, Layton, Braxton, Kolter, and Sterling.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at her home on Saturday November 4th, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
