Anthony Fowler

It is with great sadness that the Fowler family announces the unexpected passing of Anthony “Erik” Fowler on February 14, 2023.  Erik was born November 27, 1972, in Georgetown Texas.  He was raised in Lubbock Texas, attended Monterey High School and was part of the percussion drumline. He then went on for his Associates at West Texas A&M and was part of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.​

Erik had a love for speed and adrenaline.  He learned to ride motorcycles from his father at the age of 15.  He became an expert skier during his college years and enjoyed the thrill of skydiving. Anyone who met Erik knew his love for GOD and scripture.  He would not let any conversation go without a hug, a laugh, or a word from GOD. 

Erik worked for his father’s plumbing company at a young age. As an adult, he realized he had a calling to help people and became a relocation specialist. He worked for Buehler Mayflower and decided to branch out on his own with his sons to open First Class Moving. He made sure he took care of each customer from start to finish giving them first class service all the way. He was known as an expert in the field and would take on any challenge big or small. To him, nothing was impossible and he could always figure out how to do what couldn’t be done. Erik gave the best hugs and had an incredibly generous heart.  He would make sure that his employees, clients, friends, or strangers on the street were taken care of with food, clothes, or furniture for their homes.  

Erik touched many lives with his moving ministry, his larger than life personality and his love for GOD.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Erik was preceded in death by his father Danny Fowler and is survived by, his wife Meredith, daughter Dillyn, sons Derik and Dalton, his mother Brenda Fowler, and his sister Misti Fowler.  

Celebration of Life services will be held at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 8525 MidCities Blvd. North Richland Hills, 76182
