Ann Garretson, 81, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted woman
of faith, peacefully passed away on August 17, 2025, at Baylor Scott and
White hospital in Grapevine, Texas. Born on June 25, 1944, in Hunt
county, Texas, Ann grew up and spent her entire life in Euless, Texas,
where she became a cornerstone of love and kindness in her community.
Ann was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Les Garretson;
her parents, Jessie and Georgia Kitchens; and her sisters, Helen Bennett
and Jimmie Yandell.
She is survived by her loving brothers, John "Maverick" Kitchens (Terry
Kitchens) and Jessie "Kenneth" Kitchens (Dawn Kitchens); her devoted
children, Chris P. Credeur Sr., Scott Credeur, and Les Garretson (Bart
Coker); and her honorary daughter, Rene Hooper. Ann's legacy continues
through her adored grandchildren: Christopher "Bubba" Paul Credeur Jr.,
Chad Allen Credeur (Marissa Credeur), Bobby Credeur (Trinity Credeur),
Brittany King (Andrew King), Bethany White (Jonah White), Jordan
Credeur and Jaxin Credeur. She treasured her grand dogs Lauralia and
Trevor.
She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Connor Credeur,
Kalem White, Ryder White, Melanie Credeur, Cheyenne Credeur, Chloe
Credeur, Aubrey King, and Brinley King along with a host of nieces,
nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Ann's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and her deep
Christian faith. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by her
children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always ensuring
everyone felt loved and cared for.
A woman of many talents, Ann expressed her creativity through crafts
and was an active member of her church community. She also treasured
her time with the Red Hat Society, where she found friendship and
fellowship. Her generous spirit extended far beyond her family, as she
was known for taking care of anyone in need. Ann's kind soul touched
countless lives, and she was truly loved by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Ann embodied the spirit of selfless love, always
putting others first and making sure everyone around her was okay and
taken care of. Even in her final days, she remained a fighter, facing every
challenge with strength and grace. Her nurturing heart and
compassionate nature will be remembered and cherished by all whose
lives she touched.
