Ann Louise Culver, age 76, passed away on May 21st,2021 at home after a courageous battle with Endometrial Cancer.
Ann was born on October 25th,1944 to Alex and Louise Nagel in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University and the University of Oklahoma earning a degree in Education. Ann Was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
Ann married Curtis L. Culver in September of 1967. Daughter Shelly was born in 1968 and in 1970 Curtis and Ann were surprised with twin girls. They raised their girls in Tulsa, OK and Ann loved volunteering for all of their various activities. As the girls got older Ann worked at Strictly Hers and then at Talbots. In 2001 Curtis and Ann moved to North Richland Hills where Ann continued working for Talbots and volunteered for First United Methodist Church of Hurst ministries The Coat of Many Colors and Soup Sisters.
Ann is survived by her husband Curtis L. Culver, daughters Shelly Cockrum(Paul), Stacy Kell(Tony), Stephanie Wedan (Larry) and brother Jim Nagel(Ann). 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She also had several nephews and one niece. She is preceded in death by her parents Alex and Louise Nagel.
Ann will be remembered for the holiday parties she threw for her grandchildren and all of the many adventures she took them on.
Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist of Hurst on Wednesday June 2, 2021, at 3.00pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or Community Healthcare of Texas, https://www.chot.org/about/donate-to-us/
